A fixed code is hidden below. Fill a row, then check your guess.

1-6: colors. Left/Right: select. Enter: submit.

Choose colors for your first guess.

    Round settings

Applying settings starts a new round in your current role.

The computer opponent supports up to 32,768 possible codes. Breaker supports every listed size. The guess limit is a round goal, not a solver guarantee.

Colors may repeat. An exact peg has the right color and position. A misplaced peg has the right color in a different position. Each peg counts once. For secret 1 2 1 3, guess 1 1 1 1 scores 2 exact and 0 misplaced.

Breaker: the secret stays fixed. After every wrong guess, each position independently changes to a different color with probability p in a temporary scoring row. You see its clues, not its colors. Even an all-exact clue can be false; only the actual code wins. Repeating a guess is allowed.

Liar: choose and lock your secret. For each wrong computer guess, edit a temporary copy of that secret in at most t positions. The game computes the clues. The cap resets every turn, and you may change different positions. You cannot hide an actual match.

The computer keeps all codes compatible with the reported clues, the per-turn cap and confirmed wrong guesses. It compares a sample of possible guesses by their worst remaining clue bucket, with private random tie-breaking. It does not see your secret or temporary row. This heuristic is not guaranteed optimal.

Select a position, then a palette color, or type its number. Left/Right move between positions; Up/Down cycle colors. Backspace clears a peg (restores it in Liar). Enter submits a complete row. Tab reaches every control.
